  1. Thanks for the solution. Small remark though; save the -tag at the end of the code from exclusion, as this will break the opening from the code. So:

    <!– get(‘sitetitle’));?>

    get(‘sitedescription’));?>

  2. hi, when i remove the content mentioned, my site went blank (totally).

my site is newly setup and the code as below. Can you advise?

    <img src="baseurl ?>/” alt=”get(‘sitetitle’));?>” />

    get(‘sitetitle’));?>

    get(‘sitedescription’));?>

  3. In Joomla 3.o, a little bit different commenting-out:

In the index.php, search for “sitename” and comment-out 2 lines:
    <!–get(‘sitetitle’));?>–>
    and
    <!–get(‘sitedescription’));?>–>

  4. Re-posting, my full description of the lines did not go through:

In the index.php, search for “sitename” and comment-out 2 lines:
    get(‘sitetitle’));?>
    and
    get(‘sitedescription’));?>
